About Viiveck

I am a wielder of significant expertise in business and high-risk challenges. This expertise comes from fruitful experience in the profits and growth fields relating to business operations lasting well over 30 years. I have a wide range of skills and strong passions for more areas in entrepreneurship and sportsmanship in business, including but not limited to strategic planning, budget implementation, business acquisition, team management and people management.

I now enjoy using the fruits of my well-honed skills to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship among young minds, giving direction to new businesses and start-ups and helping to monetise them advantageously. My experience and guidance comes very welcome to those just beginning to dip their toe in the entrepreneurial pool. I also recognise the importance of investing in social infrastructure domains such as education, healthcare and agriculture, as these key areas play an important role in national growth and social development.

Mission

My mission is not a purely business oriented goal, but rather a holistic approach towards nourishing the entrepreneurial spirit in India, investing and engaging with social infrastructure, and enabling and monetising new solutions to problems that could be solved with a unique entrepreneurial approach. Entrepreneurship is not restricted to start-ups, but rather is a way of life. This is why I choose to invest in wide and varied domains, fostering the growth of new ideas and businesses. My work aims to provide a common platform and pooled resources in entrepreneurship from the school level, enabling and creating networks and connections between people of all walks of life who have ideas that could collectively be turned into monetised ventures.

I also strongly believe in the importance of understanding and embracing failures, and sharing the knowledge and experience gained through failure and have spoken about this at great length in my FAIL talks (insert link to video here). I strongly believe in the importance of taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture, the part we all play, understanding different perspectives and always being willing to learn.

Vision

I believe that entrepreneurship is a mindset, a way of thinking, a way of life. Ask yourself four questions: How good are you at spotting problems? Can you find solutions to these problems? How would you scale these solutions to a larger audience? Can you then monetise these solutions? These four questions put together are what make up a business idea, Asking the right questions to expose young students to the frame of mind required to progress towards a better decision is my role as an executive coach. The idea behind this approach is to teach people how to be actively aware of situations around them which could be improved through innovation and intervention.

Working along these lines, I have taken on roles with The Indus Entrepreneurs(TiE), which is a nonprofit organization devoted to entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages, from incubation, throughout the entrepreneurial life cycle. I take great interest in the two programs I run with TiE Hyderabad, specifically the TiE University and TiE Young Entrepreneurs. Through these programs, I play the role of a Value Enabler, Coach, Mentor, Investor and Social Empowerer.

My values

There are a few values around which my sense of entrepreneurship are centered.

Foresight

A combination of optimism, creativity and experience gives me the great sense of future and ability to forecast situations, allowing me to make decisions with a great degree of foresight and future-mindedness. The biggest worry anyone faces with any decision is, “Is this something I will regret tomorrow?” Well, with the right amount of control, determination and experience, I feels confident and strong enough in his strategies to optimise business solutions.

Sense and Purpose

Purpose and mindfulness are crucial to a person in any field or work, but especially so when your field of work involves many other people and involves being at the cusp of innovation. This is therefore very important to me, the ability to look at the large picture and break down plans to their smallest components and find purpose and opportunity in all activities.

Perseverence

What I see as most important is the confidence in one’s ideas and the strength and perseverance to see them through. This does not simply mean hard work, but the ability to understand and learn from failures. An individual learns more from their failures then their successes and it is in times of difficulty that one’s strengths shine.
